Food Review: Yahuza Kilishi (Dried Meat)

Yahuza Suya Spot Nig. Ltd is known for making the best Suya in Abuja. Beef, chicken, kidney, liver, gizzard; You name it? They have got it. Fresh off the grill, briskly chopped and neatly wrapped in aluminum foil, with the choice of raw cabbage, onions and Yaji, they also sell the fluffiest Masa I have ever had. But, this is not a Suya review. I’m here about their Kilishi.

Review: Dunes Grill & Burger Bar Chicken Shawarma

Following my previous posts hunting down the best Shawarma in Abuja I decide to try Dunes Grill & Burger Bar Chicken Shawarma while at the Waffle Stop. Food: Poached Eggs and How to Make Yours

For most of us in Nigeria, we prefer our eggs hard-boiled, fried or stewed, and like our meat, we like them very well done. Phones are some of the dirtiest object around.

Review: Coco Ribbon Doughnuts

Sequel to my previous reviews, and in my quest for the best doughnut in Abuja, let me present: Coco Ribbon Doughnuts! Located in Wuse 2, Coco Ribbon Doughnuts are high-end and quite frankly, the most expensive doughnuts I’ve had in my life, costing twice the price of the others.

Review: Moi-Moi Factory, Gwarimpa

Bored with the office canteen’s food, my colleagues and I were deliberating on what to have for breakfast. Then one of them suggested we try moi-moi from the “Moi-Moi Factory”. I couldn’t hide my amusement at the name and its obvious similarity to “Charlie’s Chocolate Factory”. I was intrigued and immediately decided I’d try some.
