Picture this: the gym, a battleground where sweat pours like rain, iron clangs like thunder, and determination radiates like lightning. It’s a place where mere mortals transform into superheroes, powered by the invisible force that drives their every move. And in this electrifying arena, there’s one secret weapon I wield to unleash my inner beast—my top power songs on Spotify, And I have shared my playlist below.

“Rise” by League of Legends:
My No.1 motivator. Squatting in that deadlift, the lyrics “Prove yourself and rise! Rise! Make them remember you, Riiiiiiissssse!” call out to me, turning every lift into an act of defiance and determination. It’s as though I’m drawing from the energy of legends, poised to conquer every obstacle. After the lift, I break out into a loud roar (in my head).

Pick up your weapon and face it
There’s blood on the crown, go and take it
You get one shot to make it out alive…

“Beast Southpaw Remix” by Rob Bailey:
It’s as if my very DNA rouses, transforming me into an entity of sheer strength and relentless force. “I am the beast” the lyrics affirm, and truly, I harness the untamed vigour within. With each rep, I embody the primal instinct, and this song shapes me into the beast that conquers the weight-filled wilderness.

“Hail to the King” by Avenged Sevenfold:
The lyrics speak of dominance and unyielding determination, reflecting the sentiment that I am the architect of my own destiny. This works best when I have got the full stack on the abductor machine. In this gym kingdom, I reign supreme, and the iron submits to my will.

“I Will Not Bow” by Breaking Benjamin:
This is my leg-press song. When the weights seem insurmountable, “I Will Not Bow” becomes my chant of resilience. The potent lyrics reverberating through the air serve as a reminder that capitulation is not in my vocabulary. “I will not bow, I will not break…” they assert, and I adopt them as my mantra.

“Die a King” by iamjakehill:
This compelling track morphs into a conduit for my indomitable will, echoing the rhythm of my beating heart against the weights. “I don’t want to live forever, I just want to die a king!” being repeated reverberate within me, igniting an inferno that fuels each rep, each strain, each victorious lift. Like a king, I am reminded that it isn’t about living without challenges, but rather facing them head-on, and conquering them.

“Born for This” by The Score:
As I start a workout, “Born for This” by The Score turns into my anthem of purpose and destiny. The driving beats and resounding chorus generate an ambience of anticipation and potential. The words remind me that I am here not by coincidence but by design—I am born for greatness.

“You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell:
In the realm of perspiration and iron, “You Know My Name” becomes my anthem of self-empowerment. No, not really. In my head, I just become “Bond, James Bond”. That’s all. You know where Chris screams “arm yourself because no one else here to saaaave you”. Yep, no one is coming to save me. I have to win on this set.

Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you

“Uprising” by Muse:
I think it’s the intro drums on this one, then the sense of rebellion and defiance. That “They will not control us, we will be victorious! Come on!” makes me feel like I am being called to join something what fighting for. so I get up and pick the weights.

“I Am Machine” by Three Days Grace:
This one gives me Terminator – T1000 vibes., basically, I am the machine.

“Power” by Kanye West:
Heeeey, this is my superhero theme music, there is nothing I cannot lift when this song comes on! The bold, rhythmic beats and Kanye’s dominating presence instil a sense of authority within me. When he says “No one man should have all that power” he is talking about me.

At the end of the day, goddammit, I’m killin’ this shit
I know damn well y’all feeling this shit
I don’t need your pussy, bitch, I’m on my own dick

-Kanye West (Power)

The lyrics serve as a mantra of strength and conviction, reminding me that I possess the power to mould my own reality.

“Till I Collapse” by Eminem ft. Nate Dogg:
This is more a goodie-oldie cardio song for me, because I am literally about to collapse. I hate cardio and my legs are really about to give out. The intro has that motivational speech that wakes you, and the lyrics embody the unwavering spirit of perseverance, pushing me to keep marching on that Stairmaster when my body is ready to give in.

‘Cause sometimes you just feel tired
Feel weak and when you feel weak
You feel like you wanna just give up
But you gotta search within you
Try to find that inner strength and just pull that shit out of you
And get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad
You wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse

– Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III)

As the song asserts, “Till the roof comes off, till the lights go out, ‘Til my legs give out,” I tap into an inexhaustible source of energy, pushing myself beyond my perceived limits.
