All good things come to an end. After 8 years, our favourite President is leaving office and gave his farewell speech in Chicago yesterday.
I am enamored by this great man, his love for his country and his family. But reactions on Twitter to his exit have been mixed, ranging from:
Gratitude
and Sarcasm,
To Despair
and Complaints from family members in typical African fashion
and Comparisons between his speech and the President-Elect’s Press Conference
But not all reactions were negative. Some Trump supporters also expressed thier excitement
Regardless, President Barack Obama will be missed and will rank as one of the finest examples of leadership the world has ever seen. He made Americans proud, but most importantly, I believe he made every African proud!
