Review: A Unique Logo by Wordsmith Designs

My first Product and Service Review!

Background
I started this blog sometime last year but I had too much going on in my life to keep up with its demands. However, it’s my priority this year to improve this blog.
First on the list was a proper identity. I needed the perfect logo and thankfully Dotun Fadairo of Wordsmith Designs came to the rescue.

Pros & Cons
Coming up with a design customised to communicate my image was an interactive process and Dotun made it fun.

We started by discussing my blog, its contents and my vision for it. Then we discussed logo ideas. He’d send me a sample designs and I’d tell him how I felt about them and suggest alterations to make it better suit me. He’s attentive and overflowing with creative ideas and suggestions.

However, the real Pros are:

  1. Working online: Location is not a barrier for Wordsmith Designs. Despite being in two different cities, Abuja and Lagos, with effective communication we got along just fine.
  2. Fast Process: To be honest, we could have been done in 2 days or less. But I was distracted by other responsibilities so I ignored Dotun’s messages for a few days. Despite this delay on my part, he was very patient and if he was mad, he didn’t show it. He was ready when i was. Excellent Customer Service.
  3. Available 24/7: When I did come around to replying his messages I did it around midnight, hoping he’d be unavailable so I won’t look bad for not replying at that time but to my surprise he was up and ready!
  4. Fair Price: The service costs between N7,000 to N10,000 depending on the amount of work to be done and the details. I haggled for the minimum. Lol
