Trips during the Christmas period can be hectic and exhausting, so depending on your circumstance this may not always be possible. However, it’s holiday season. Smile, talk to the stranger sitting next to you on the bus or flight. Don’t wait till there’s turbulence and you feel like you might be about to die before you say hello. It is always fun to travel. My earliest memory of traveling is staring out at the trees speeding past on either side of the endless stretch of road, and then drifting in and out of sleep in the backseat of my dad’s Peugeot 504. This year, I’ve been blessed to travel often, both locally and abroad, and even now, the steady hum of the engine, plane or car, still sends me to sleep.

On the average, I have about 100 apps on my phone and right now, I have 129 installed. Most of them perform similar functions but have unique features that make them indispensable. Others I have not used in a while, but because they often come in handy, I keep them. Why delete a useful app if you have space for it? I have a lot of space!
Now, I am all for doing the right thing and gender equality, but these fuel queues under this relentless sun is no place to find a lady. This means we too have to work our “magic”.

With so many high tech entertainment choices, reading is a dying hobby, not only because it’s time consuming but it requires significant mental focus to be rewarding.
Honestly, I’m surprised by this statistic. Our reading culture in Nigeria ends after Comprehension in English Language and the compulsory Secondary School Literature books, or effectively after we “pass exam”. Afterwards, its Facebook Feed, Twitter Timeline or just the monthly pay-slip.
